BLSJ CHARITABLE FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Charitable Foundation of the Builders League of South Jersey is to provide shelter-related assistance and to support charities with similar needs within the communities we serve.

BLSJ CHARITABLE FOUNDATION HOLDS HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE:  The BLSJ Charitable Foundation continued its assistance of the Family Service Organization by collecting toys, food and cash during our Holiday Toy Drive in December.   

SIX SOUTH JERSEY CHAPTERS OF HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, TWO FOOD BANKS RECEIVE DONATIONS FROM BUILDERS LEAGUE OF SOUTH JERSEY: The Builders League of South Jersey Charitable Foundation has awarded $15,000 in donations to the six Habitat for Humanity chapters and two food banks that are based in South Jersey.

Among the award recipients are the Community Food Bank of New Jersey ($2,000), Food Bank of South Jersey ($2,000), Metropolitan Camden Habitat for Humanity ($2,000), Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity ($2,000), Burlington County Habitat for Humanity ($2,000), Habitat for Humanity Atlantic County Inc. ($2,000), Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity ($2,000), and the Habitat for Humanity Cape May County ($1,000).

“Food, clothing and shelter are our most basic needs in life. The Builders League’s Charitable Foundation has always focused on providing shelter-related assistance and support to charities with similar needs in South Jersey,” said Builders League Executive Vice President Richard S. Van Osten. “This was an opportunity to further support the work these organizations do to improve the quality of life for residents in our area.”
